last book i've read: Do Fish Drink Water? Puzzling and Improbable Questions and Answers, by Bill McLain
singer currently caressing my ears: maria mena. she's becoming my favorite.
general mood: rejuvenated.
quote i just thought of: "and you're the only who drives me kicking and screaming through fast dreams, and you're the only one who knows exactly what i need." --"you're the only one," maria mena

home again. wishing i was somewhere where the sun doesn't stop shining.... but i guess wisconsin will do. it's good to be home, but there's something about the ocean that i simply adore. i also had my first experiencing bodyboarding, or boogeyboarding, whichever you prefer. which also was my first experience in L.A. i really enjoyed it. wayland's dad was very courteous and thoughtful. just great people.

you know, sometimes we all need to get $95 haircuts in expensive salons where they give you your choice of drink while waiting. it was probably a $90 orange water i had that day.... or maybe i just have a great haircut. oh, it was fun, but a hair cut isn't worth $95 every two or so months, even if it's by the finest hairdresser in the world. the salon was diPietro Todd in Palo Alto, and i have monica to thank for my beautiful coif (and deep burning hole in my wallet). nevertheless, i enjoyed the experience, and wouldn't take it back. just do it, once, and you'll see what i mean.

michael's senior pictures are coming up, and i am going to do a few poses too, sneak in a few and replace my ucky senior pics with some great ones with my new highlighted haircut. and then.... oregon. i cannot wait. west coast, here i come (for the third time this summer)! i'm taking over.
